New Crysis 2 Screens

Well, we weren’t overly impressed when we had a go on Crysis 2 at the Eurogamer Expo, going so far as to call it the let down of the show.  However, what we played was only a fraction of a code that may have been fairly old, so it’s too early to write the game off.  Some new screens are in, and they certainly look the part.

  2. Looks aren’t everything, though.
    Anyone else think this game is a little cold?

    • What I want to know is have they upgraded the shooting from the original Crysis?

    • agree, im still not sure of it. no doubt ill pick it up at some point but im not into shooting monsters in fps’s, i prefer war/shooting soldiers in my fps

    • I do… There’s really nothing from the beta that’s had me going “wow” even.

  3. I just saw a video of Crysis multiplayer – it looked brilliant and fun, I can see myself playing this for hours and hours on team death match
    Day one purchase. Any idea on a release date, I take it would be next year like January/February?

  4. This game looks visually stunning but I am not so sure about the gameplay from the videos I have seen, I loved Crysis 1 and will most likely pick this one up aswell but idk atm seems a bit toned down from the original.

  5. Don’t think much of these images at all really. Seems a little cold indeed. And it seems you’ll be shooting enemies five feet away.

    Use “NJ40UK” and then “VoucherCodes.com25%” as codes to get 40% followed by 25% off.

    • Sadly, those codes don’t appear to work anymore!

  8. The multiplayer is slow and unoriginal and the story has no direction. Nothing to do with the code at the time. It did look good though, when it wasn’t lagging (even in singleplayer).
