25One of the highlights of Gamescom 2010 was being locked in a dark room with twenty other people. Yes that sounds weird, but it was to see an extended 3D gameplay trailer of Crysis 2 – and it was amazing. Fast forward a couple of months and excitement turned to disappointment when we got a hands on with the console version of the game; it looked a bit bland and the framerate was dreadful. Still, that was using E3 code so we’re expecting big things from the finished version, and this trailer doesn’t do anything to diminish that expectation.
Roll on March 2011.

It still seems to me that it will suffer from a complete lack of fun, and lathered in clunky gameplay.
I’m more than happy to be wrong though.
This coming out on iDevices too? ;)

I should clarify that by saying ‘still seems to me…’ I’m not referring to the original game/s but to my impression of Crysis 2 since it was announced, every video I’ve seen of it in action seems far too clunky in the gameplay department.
Crysis was good, but not brilliant, stretch the devs further and there’s every chance Crysis 2 could miss the mark of expectation, I’m willing to re-mortgage on the basis that the PC version will be riddled with bugs.

Cant wait for this game, its going to be nothing short of mindblowing. The graphics will be awesome and hopefully some of the vehicular mechanics will be sorted from warhead. Nevertheless I believe it will be the best multiplatform fps of 2011 :)

This is looking great. I think 2011 is gonna be my fav gaming year so far especially with ES5: Skyrim! Can’t wait.
