The latest trailer for EA’s upcoming boxing game ‘Fight Night Champion’ is out and it’s looking more like a drama than a game!  With shades of ‘Rocky’ dancing through our minds, the trailer shows off part of the game’s career mode as well as some absolutely superb visuals.

Fight Night Champion is due out early March this year.

  1. Dunno what to make of this. Gonna buy it for sure. Is this the future of the Fight Night games or just a spin off from the Round X’s?

  2. That looks superb, I just hope you end up coming up against Apollo Creed!

I gather it will support Move?

    • Not sure about Move – I think they said it would be too exhausting. After playing ‘The Fight’ I totally agree!

      • That’s true, it is a pretty tiring experience. I quite enjoy “The Fight” but it’s a shame it lacks any kind of serious depth.

  3. Love the fight night games! but its between this and the new mortal kombat. i can see myself going for the latter.

  4. Unless the fights are 2x 1 minute rounds then Move support will be too much for the average gamer. I would like to have the option though, would be nice to get a boxing style workout without being punched.

I love the Fight Night games and I’ve recently become an EA MMA fanboy. For a first attempt it is far more refined and feels less on the rails than the THQ designed UFC games.

  5. Do you think they could get any more EA logo’s in that trailer?

  6. Storyline, Swearing, and a Gun? Ah well, as long as the cutscenes are skipable and I can create my boxer its cool.
