More Free Mass Effect 2 PS3 DLC Announced

20The PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 is hardly lacking in content at the moment. A tweaked game engine, interactive comic, and all the current DLC means PS3 owners will be playing until at least when Mass Effect 3 hits our shores. Just in case you felt a bit hard done by, BioWare has announced that those who purchase the game before February 23rd will be able to download the Terminus Armor and M-490 Blackstorm Projector Weapon free of charge from the PSN Store. After that date the Terminus Gear will be available as paid DLC.
A demo of Mass Effect 2 is on the PSN now; have you given it a go?

Really looking forward to this. I’ll be buying it on january pay day, so that Dlc is mine thank you very much. Enjoyed the demo, a game to really sink my teeth into by the looks of it!

I was planning to buy it, but saw it on the Xbox for £4.98 brand new. Can’t pass up a deal like that!

Same situation I was in. I played and beat it on 360 when it came out. Then I sold it but immediately regretted it. I was thinking picking it up on the PS3 was the logical choice since I wanted it back, but I found it for $9.99 on Amazon during their end of year deals. I bought the game and can buy all the DLC for less than half what the PS3 version costs.
It’s kind of shame, though… I wanted those trophies ;-)

Beings I have already played through ME2, this won’t be a day one purchase for me, though I will likely pick it up for the PS3 over the Summer to get back on track before ME3.

Normally I would welcome a game shifting to PS3 but ME2 coming over without the original just seems rather silly in my book, especially considering the stories are very closely related from what I’ve been told.

the ps3 version comes with a short story with choices that you have to make giving you an insight as to what occurred in ME1

Too bad the demo contained a lot of spoilers. I regret playing it, because the only thing I wanted most was to go on playing. Played ME1 and absolutely loved it. By far the best exclusive on xbox.
Waiting on the PS3 version though, very excited.

Was sure to buy it but then played the demo and didn’t like it too much. Felt clunky to me, the camera being so stuck to my character that any feel of fluid motion was shattered.
Of course I can’t really judge the game overall from as little as I’ve played it but my first impression wasn’t that good and am still surprised I never see any critical voices anywhere…
But back to Demon’s Souls now… ;o)
