Recent showings of L.A Noire have been impressive, with its facial animation really standing out. If Rockstar’s Twitter feed is anything to go by we won’t have soon to wait until an official launch date is confirmed:
“L.A. Noire is coming to Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 this spring. The official release date will be announced soon…”
Set in the back-end of the 1940s, the game sees you taking on, and trying to solve, a number of murder mysteries in “a perfectly re-created Los Angeles”. It sounds interesting, and certainly makes a change from Rockstar’s multimillion selling ‘Grand Theft Auto’ series. We hope the gamble pays off.

Spring? That’s soon. Not that you’d know it.

I dunno, it rained all day yesterday so that seems like spring to me – Or is it summer?

I think it’s good that they’re making something different. The truth be told GTA was getting a little stale with 4. This break gives them the chance to start some new IPs such as this and Agent which both look great, whilst having time to overhaul GTA.

I’m actually excited to play this one, it’s very different and I loved Mafia 2 so I have high hopes on this one. I saw the trailer last night – Brilliant I must say.

Loving the facial animation in the trailers ive seen, they keep talking about how this is important because being able to read peoples reactions is integral to the game. So i really want to find out how theyre implementing that.

I think it will be released in May like Red Dead Redemption did.

I know R* has been busy, but their released schedule reminds me of a game of 3-Card Monty.
