It’s day 3, and I’m trying to ramp it up a fair bit. The first two days definitely weren’t the most challenging, even to someone who’s just been playing GT5 for their car knowledge. Many of you screamed and shouted in the comments for something more obscure, so I’m trying to do that for you. Can’t think of any people to give a shout out to, this was all my idea and mine alone, with no involvement from Manorhowze at all, and absolutely no similarities whatsoever to ScreenDemon’s ‘Whose … is it Anyway?’ series…

Just to recap, we’ve had two sets of pictures already, one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday, and we’ll carry on until Saturday. Each set of pictures is of 3 cars, with each car having three little snippets of varying difficulties. The first page is the tougher pictures, and the third the easiest. So don’t be disheartened if you don’t figure them out on the first page, click on the thumbnails for a closer look, and then try the next page. By the end, you should hopefully have enough details to piece together what the car is, or at least the manufacturer, so that you can look them up in GT5.

As and when you figure them out, please don’t post what the answers are in the comments down below, as that would ruin the fun for others. Though, feel free to say how easy you found them, and I can try and make things even tougher for tomorrow. Then again, I may have completely overreacted and now these are far too tricky…

Last thing. This is just for fun, but to lend it a competitive edge, you can send me an email with the subject “It’s that car” identifying the 15 cars and your TSA ID to Stefan@tsa2.org and the most accurate and fastest 15 people will get a nice 50 TSA Points. After the last set of pictures go up on Saturday, you’ll have until 11PM on Sunday 30th of January to get your emails in to me, as I’ll be posting what the cars were and who guessed best on Monday.

So, on we go to the first set of pictures. Today’s theme is “Putting the Hum back in the Drum… Get it? Humdrum? I’ll get my coat.”

Car 8

Car 9

Is that hard enough now? Keep on trucking to Page 2 if it is.

Right now we’ve got a ton of stuff going on, and there’s loads more coming in the next few weeks, so keep checking in on the Community, Competitions and Meets sections of the site, as well as following@thesixthaxis and @TSACom on twitter for even more TSA.

  1. OOOOOoooo much trickier!

Pretty sure i’ve got them, but I’ll be honest, I don’t think it was until the last page when I was more confident!

    humdrum indeed!

  2. More like it, not so sure about the middle car though. Also, how specific do we need to be? Like for arguement’s sake, say there was an lotus elise from 2003, and it’s name specifically says that, but I didnt put it, would it still count.

    • Enough to distinguish it from the other cars available from that manufacturer.

  3. This one is the first set that I will have to double check on GT5… well at least number 8.

  8. Not bad for today. I do enjoy that you are using more mainstream cars and not iconic ones. props to ya! :-)

  9. My problem with all of these is that i can get the manufactures straight away but the actual car is much more difficult.

  10. Now that’s a difficulty spike! I was not sure until page three today!
