It’s difficult to keep track of every shot released in the run up to a big game’s release so we apologise if these have appeared before. They’ve just been pushed out from the PlayStation event in London and we certainly haven’t noticed them before. So, we thought you’d be keen to take a look at the full HD shots.

As you can see, there is stil an awful lot of brown and yellow going on but that’s the palette which makes Resistance distinctive. We think it’s looking fantastic and, in addition to the new trailer, these screens are increasing our anticipation in a big way.

What do you think?

    • it does too, IMAGE 3:
look at the insane steroidal beast he is fighting, THEN look at the weapon on his back, carrot peeler?

  2. It does look very impressive graphically. Not the best thing since sliced bread, but a big step up.

The opening from that trailer, and quite a few of the things happening, did rather remind me of Half Life 2, though. Not a bad thing.

  5. Looks absolutely great, this is right at the top of the stack of games I want this year. Whilst I’m sad about the lack of eight player co-op, I’m certain the MP side will be brilliant fun.

  7. I wish they would go back to England at somepoint to see what has happened after they seemed to defeat the Chimera. I would also love them to travel across Europe and into Russia to find the source of the Chimera. I miss the old style atmosphere of Resistance 1 quite a lot, but I do like these new Chimera they are adding and better weapons etc. I just hope these resistance groups have some story other than plain survival.

Im quite skeptical on the game really, as I felt very let down by Resistance 2.

      • No, but im aware of it and the location. I dont count that as part of this series though, I see the PSP version as more of a spin off.

  8. Yeah it really should have stayed in UK, instead of (sigh) going to America. Wish they could have visited someplace in Scotland too.

  9. This is game looks so good, and as much as I liked Resistance 2, it needs a few major improvements to be as good as the original. From the looks of things, I’ve got my GoTY.
