Amazon have recently listed (and since removed) a placement for inFamous 2: Hero Edition, revealing the bonus content fans can expect if they are willing to cough up some extra cash. $99.99 (which is roughly £65 for us tea-drinkers) will bag you a copy of the game as well as two items of inFamous memorabilia and a generous stock of in-game content. inFAMOUS 2 is the second chapter in the best selling franchise for the PS3. This immersive open world adventure offers a powerful, emotional, and visceral take on being a super hero. Blamed for the destruction of Empire City, Cole must make a dramatic journey to discover his full super-powered potential. inFAMOUS 2 Hero Edition includes exclusive limited edition 8.5″ Cole MacGrath statue, Replica Cole MacGrath sling pack, Super voucher that gives access to in game content – including the Lightning Hook Power, Electrocution Grenade Power, Kessler Skin, and 24K Gold Amp weapon variant, Mini inFAMOUS #1 comic from DC Comics, and the Official inFAMOUS 2 soundtrack.
According to Amazon, the game is due to release on May 24th in the USA, though an official launch date has yet to be confirmed.

is infamous really the best selling franchise on PS3? I would have thought that particular accolade would have been held by Uncharted.

“Best selling for the PS3″ just means it sold a lot on the PS3. It doesn’t mean it’s the “bestest” of all franchises.

I hope they make a version without the figures. Figures are useless.
