Focusing on two of any detective’s essential skills – investigation and interrogation - Rockstar have sent over a new video showcasing L.A. Noire’s immersive and hyper-realistic world.
Watch as men in big hats and silly suits look for telltale facial cues and other revealing details when questioning suspects and witnesses, while also getting an insight into how the probing of crime scenes within the game will be presented.
The new footage (embedded below) is comprised entirely of in-game footage.

The barman at 1:19 is one of the guys in Mad Men and the “gangster” in the restaurant who is going to lose his temper is in quite a few films.

Me too. It’s very rare I get properly excited about anything really but this game looks so perfect for my tastes, I’m looking forward to it so much.
It looks a brilliant one for multiple play-throughs too possibly and definitely a great game for some excellent DLC.
I’m beginning to think I should stop watching these videos because I don’t want to ruin it for myself.

The DLC could almost be endless given the amount of potential scenarios, even real case crime files would be sweet.

moshi, from what I can remeber reading a while ago the cases already in the game are based on real crimes that happened in that era.

These guys look like they could make great DLC versions of something like LA Confidential, Black Dahlia and Zodiac.
Is that right Heedbaw? That would lend an element of natural tension knowing you were investigating something true, albeit without consequences.

Dunno what it is but I’m really not convinced about this game.

Very interested in this game. Is it general concensus that this will be a GTA/RDR with puzzle solving mechanic attached?
