As if the incentive of getting to play Resident Evil: Revelations hasn’t already sold you, Capcom have released a new trailer for Resident Evil: The Mercenaries to further whet your appetite. The video is just below and features what looks almost like a highlight real of gameplay between two of the series’ staples, Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker.

It’s almost all gameplay footage and it’s definitely worth your time. Have a look.

  3. Huh, looks nice, and also gives the first-time impression that you are given enough ammunition to fully enjoy an RE game.

  4. It plays well, and looks great. My concerns over longevity remain, however.

    • I played Mercs mode in RE5 for a long time online. This would at least get a few hours out of me. Hope there’s enough to keep me coming back.

  5. CAPCOM definately has the upper hand on 3DS for now. Shame Nintendo hasn’t, though withe Zelda a.o. on the way this should change.

The graphics looks superb, though to make an unlockable extra of the classic RE4 and RE5 into a full game seems a bit boring. I’d prefer a full story.
