1With April now upon us, the Gears of War 3 beta is drawing very near and today we have some new gameplay footage to share with you. The video was created by Epic themselves and is narrated by Rod Furgesson. It certainly seems like the game is coming along very nicely and I like how smooth everything looks. It’s not really surprising that it’s looking so sharp, however, as the game was originally slated to launch around this time, before the decision came down to delay it.

Having only just bought an xbox 360, I did not see what all the fuss was about; but I have gotta say I am loving GoW2 and am looking forward to the third

If you just got it and you’re playing on line, drop me an invite. I’ve still never finished the 2 games on co-op so happy to run through if you’re up to it.
Gears are great games. My only niggling issue with the above video being the amount of bullets enemies can take. That locust soaked up almost an entire clip just to shrug it off, run round and take a “meatshield”. I hope it’s not like that in real life.

Just wish I can get a Beta though. Got Bulletstorm on PS3 =P
