It seems that nothing can stop the power of Zumba, as it once again takes the top spot in the UK Charts. On the whole things haven’t changed too much, although you will note that Homefront has left the top ten, now residing at number 17.
One might say the charts are on the Brink of change, though (see what I did there?).
Here’s the Top 20 in full:
1. Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
2. Portal 2 (EA)
3. Mortal Kombat (Warner)
4. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision)
5. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
6. FIFA 11 (EA)
7. Operation Flashpoint: Red River (Codemasters)
8. Wii FIt Plus (NIntendo)
9. Pokemon Black (Nintendo)
10. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft)
11. Michael Jackson: The Experience (Ubisoft)
12. Pokemon White (Nintendo)
13. Red Dead Redemption (Take-Two)
14. Virtua Tennis 4 (Sega)
15. Sniper: Ghost Warrior (City Interactive)
16. Crysis 2 (EA)
17. Homefront (THQ)
18. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (Warner)
19. Shift 2: Unleashed (EA)
20. Kinect Sports (Microsoft)

I’m not a big Nintendo fan these days but grats to them for having so many of their titles in the top20.
Looking forward to Brink this Friday which should knock Zumba off the top spot :)

I have been playing it again recently. With the PSN down I think there is more demand for a long and deep single player experience

Yep. Since it’s been down, I’ve completed Mafia II, Singularity and Heavy Rain, and been playing a lot of both RDR and GTAIV. All great single player experiences and it’s been really refreshing actually.

Great choices, aerobes. I’ve got Mafia II to enjoy. Completed GTA IV, bought Singularity and will get Heavy Rain later in the year. Oh, also playing the original Crysis and it’s effing marvellous!

The price has dropped heavily in recent weeks. I think you can pick RDR up for about £13.

I may have to rebuy it as I quite fancy playing the Undead Nightmare stuff :)

I wonder if all the people who have bought Operation Flashpoint, red river are as disappointed as me. Only game iv bought in the last year i regret. Gameplay is just about passable but the graphics are so bad its hard to get any enjoyment

these nintendo and fitness games really annoy me, they are all crap!!!!!!
still, nice to see RDR climbing back up, and two LEGO games in the top 20 is pretty good :)

Possibly 3 next week.
My money is firmly on Lego Pirates of the Caribbean going straight to number 1 on the all formats chart.

People seem to have forgotten that it is totally free to actually go outside for a jog/cycle/walk instead of standing on a white board and jogging in front of a tv screen.

Only 5 exclusives in the top 20? Kinect Sports, Wii Fit and Just Dance 2 are hardly the most of inspiraing titles either.

Speaking as someone who doesn’t really like motion controlled gaming, Kinect Sports is awesome stuff!

I would not say it’s awesome but it’s a good game.

EyeToy Sports, Wii Sports, Kinect Sports, Sports Champions… all much of the same and all tend to be a bit of a let down.

My wife loves Zumba, some of the dances scare me to death. I got Spotify the other day and all her favorite Zumba tunes are on there, which is just great!. I like seeing NFS Shift 2 at number 19, hopefully it will be more suited to my cheapskate pocket soon.

Lol it comes in a package deal when you buy a 360 so I suppose people who buy a 360 pick up the game and 360 for £199.99.
I know I did last week :/
But yeh who has been buying it from Jan to April?!?!?

I think people should also own up if they bought Zumba fitness too. Come on, some of you must be buying it ;)

Bought it for my girlfriend last week and she reckons it’s awesome. I however beg to differ and would much rather play Bulletstorm.
