As reported by Andriasang (via Joystiq), a recent Sega Sammy financial report includes reference to PC and 3DS versions of the upcoming Sonic Generations.
Listed in the report alongside the upcoming Mario and Sonic game, Binary Domain, and Yakuza: Of the End, Generations is marked as coming to computers and Nintendo’s new parallax-infused handheld, as well as the previously announced PS3 and Xbox 360 releases. Given the number of Sonic titles that made it to the original DS, it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch, but Sega have yet to comment.
Sonic Generations is due out “winter 2011″. Now where’s my Sonic 4 Episode 2?

Wow, with the Game Gear Sonic games the 3DS is getting some serious Sonic love. Just hoping they announce this game for the NGP as I really don’t want to have to buy another Nintendo handheld for Sonic games.

At this rate it’s going to be one episode a year. Well if its a decent one I suppose its worth the wait.
