Store Publishes Coming “Multiple Times Per Week

28Whilst the PlayStation Network is now back in action for online gameplay after some R&R, the Store itself is still unavailable. On the US PlayStation Blog, Jeff Rubenstein has posted a lengthy QnA about the ongoing recovery process, answering service- and game-specific queries.
Answering a question on when Store purchasing would be online again, Rubenstein had this to say: “To date, three Tuesday publishes were missed, which included items like Under Siege and the MotorStorm Apocalypse demo. Rest assured that you won’t miss any of this great content. To catch up on the large amount of material, we’ll be publishing to the PlayStation Store multiple times per week once commerce functionality is restored.”
On top of that, he reassured that Sony “will be picking back up with the PlayStation Plus content calendar where we left off to ensure that you won’t miss out on anything,” reflecting comments on the EU Blog that sufficient time would be given to access the April and May publishes before the June content goes live.
In terms of particular game queries, Sucker Punch is “evaluating” expanding and extending the inFamous 2 beta, Zipper will shortly be announcing plans to “re-engage” SOCOM 4 players (maybe free SOCOM Pro for all?), and Sony is in discussions with Treyarch to get a Black Ops Double XP event up as soon as possible.
Sure, we’re not out of the mess yet, but it’s good to know there’ll be plenty of goodies available when the Store relaunches.

Which week? I think we just have to wait for the store to come back online and then it will be 2 or possibly 3 updates per week until they catch up with everything.
Looks like we’ll be spoilt for choice soon so i’d better some PSN vouchers in.

Don’t ask me why, but I’m kinda glad the PSN went down! Free games free ps plus and a monster store update! And hopefully a few double xp weekends!

really cos the stuff they ae giving aay is awesome but persoally I would ather have had a nice end to my days out during the bank hol getting triple cash of UC2 and not have to worry about my details being hed by some idiot with a small dick

@E8_BALL simply games have £20 for £19.85 but there are others who are cheaper. I’ve got them for about £18 in the past.
