In absolutely shocking news, Zumba is still at number one in the UK Charts. Ok I lied, it’s not that shocking. What might be shocking, perhaps, is that the oft delayed F.E.A.R 3 charted at a respectable third.
On the downside, yet another new IP falls by the roadside as Shadows of the Damned claims 31st place. Such a pity, as our review was a positive one.
Here’s the UK Top 20 in full:
1. Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
2. LA Noire (Rockstar)
3. FEAR 3 (Warner)
4. Dirt 3 (Codemasters)
5. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Disney)
6. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (Nintendo)
7. FIFA 11 (EA)
8. Duke Nukem Forever (2K Games)
9. Brink (Bethesda)
10. Top Spin 4 (2K Sports)
11. InFamous 2 (Sony)
12. Crysis 2 (EA)
13. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (Ubisoft)
14. Dungeon Siege III (Square Enix)
15. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo)
16. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters (EA)
17. Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Activision)
18. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (LucasArts)
19. Portal 2 (EA)
20. Virtua Tennis 4 (Sega)

zumba fitness is like Sebastian Vettel, no one likes him but he always comes first!
good spot for F3AR or just FEAR 3 :P ive played a bit of the first 1 and just the demo of the second, but they looked pretty scary to me :P
I was very impressed with shadows of the damned and would have probably bought it if i had the money :/

I know quite a few people who like Vettle but i suppose it depends what country your in. If your based in the UK then your going to have a hatred of him as you want Hamilton and Button to win. However i got to say that is a very good comparison though if you dont like Sebastian Vettle which i dont.

Well theres hardly been people talking about, I’m shocked that its released now? I thought Shadows of the Damned (..of the Damned!) would’ve been Autumn?

Shame to see Shadows tank the way it has. It actually looks pretty decent. I was going to rent it but, given how badly it has sold, I might wait for the inevitable price drop at £25.

The problem with both games and in-particular Shadows is the replay value of them. If I’m are going to shell out £40 on a game I expect more than 8-9 hours of gameplay. If companies are going to rush games out and offer little in the way of playtime they should either release it on PSN/XBL or charge less for the disc. If not this is what happens.

Agreed. In a way I would prefer a pricing scheme similar to that seen on the N64. Major releases (usually 1st party) that gave you a lot of playtime, etc such as Mario64, Zelda and Banjo were a higher price than smaller 3rd party titles. The standard 39.99 for all approach used now regardless of a game’s length, quality, etc can be really annoying at times.

Talk about prices dropping, Enslaved is now selling for £7.85 on Zavvi. It pays to be patient.
