It’s a quarter of a century of weekly podcasts for us. This means that next week’s will be halfway through the year. Astounding really, for a podcast that features more bad jokes than actual information. I was back this week but we still had to rely on the ever-reliable Dan to fill a seat…

This week, our usual host, Kris, left us in favour of a few days off to celebrate his birthday. Lewis took on hosting duties again and Dan filled in. We talked about Stake Land, Tiny Tower and the Uncharted 3 beta’s unwavering ability to crash my PS3. Dan also tried to tell us a bit about Alice: Madness Returns but mostly, we talked about Lewis’ love for U2.

There were reader questions about our favourite bands, the site’s name, someone called CM Punk – who apparently did a wrestling thing – and the usual weird randomness that we’re growing used to.

This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

  • As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
  • You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
  • Or we’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.

  4. Peter comes back, and the number of double entendres increases exponentially.
    i wonder if there’s any correlation. o_O

    or is it Lewis’s fault?

anyway, good to hear you’re better Peter.

or is it the combination of you two causing a perfect storm of filth.
actually, after listening to the last three or four minutes that theory sounds more valid.

i actually got the answer to last weeks competition right, i wasn’t even sure i had the right answer.

i haven’t seen the beach yet, it came out back when i couldn’t stand Dicaprio,i think my opinion started to change when i saw catch me if you can and gangs of new york.

oh yeah, i tried the quiz too, got 8 out of ten.
i mixed up Deniro and Pacino, i keep getting those two confused.
and i had no idea about number 4.

all i could remember about titanic was the ship sank, kate winslet showed her breasts, and Leo died.

for shame you guys not remembering Rachel from blade runner. :(

if you want to see a great film starring Sean Young, check out fatal instinct, it’s a spoof, but a good one, of thrillers like fatal attraction, cape fear and sleeping with the enemy, and good god she looked gorgeous.
it is one of the funniest films i’ve ever seen.

oh and for the record, i pronounce my username, Hazel ay em, A.M. are my last two initials.

that said, hazlam sounds kinda cool.
