Are you unable to log into Xbox Live right now? Microsoft has confirmed that some users currently cannot access Xbox Live from their Xbox 360s. They are of course looking to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
They send their obvious apologies and we hope to see the service bounce back online very soon.
In the meantime, why not take a trip to the beach, carry on with your work you should be doing anyway, or jump on another games console instead.

PANIC!

I’ve had difficulties for over a month. Someone hacked my Live ID and took control of my Gamertag. Customer service on the telephone were helpful but as soon as they hung up it turned into a clown show. Took 3 weeks for them to contact me and then they gave me incomplete instructions for recovery. Now I’ve got my Gamertag back but with a stupid temporary Live ID because they still haven’t unlocked my own and I’m into my second day of waiting for them to reply to my latest email. Although the one before this took a week and a reminder email to get any response so I shouldn’t be too surprised.
So, in short, I hope this doesn’t mess up too many people’s accounts because apparently it’s very difficult to get them back on track…

That takes me back to 2006-2008, where I experienced a string of Xbox 360 breakdowns. I think however with my recent experiences and research with Apple Customer Support in the UK that administration and customer service are not this countries strong points.

What? You don’t know who Simon is? Where have you been? I mean, how could you not know? I’m totally flabbergasted. I mean, it’s obvious isn’it it?
Note to Peter: Who is Simon? Is he fit? Thanks.

Wow, yesterday was the first time I’ve used Xbox Live this year and now THIS happens.

If this turns out to be the work of hackers, I really hope that they’re found and charged with whatever the hell charges they can be charged with.
