As reported earlier this year, those who pick up a Blu-ray copy of Battle: Los Angeles will be treated to an exclusive single-player demo of Insomniac’s upcoming sci-fi shooter, Resistance 3. For the rest of us however, there is evidence that we could be seeing a downloadable version of the playable preview as early as next month. According to VG247, who possess the B:LA Blu-ray, the label on the demo reads “exclusive through 9/8/11.”
With Resistance 3 set to launch on September 3rd, early August sounds like an ideal time for Sony to make the Mississippi River demo available to masses, especially with a multiplayer beta also on its way.

Great series, but I get the feeling that Sony’s not hyping it enough. Anyway, I look forward to playing the demo and the MP beta.

I wasn’t too impressed with the quality of the demo, hopefully the full game upps the ante a bit, otherwise its going to be a big let down for me

I don’t see them putting the same demo on the store, if people have already either played it or watched it on YouTube.

Watching it and playing it are two different things. I’ve watched games then played them (like the recent batman) and thought wow after playing it and bought it.

Would of picked up Battle LA but didn’t know if its a good film and i don’t plan on buying a film purely for a demo which will probably be free.
