Microsoft’s financials have rolled in for their fourth-quarter earnings.
In terms of Xbox 360 sales, the Entertainment and Devices division is up $293 million for the last three months (ending June 30th, against the same timescale in 2010) which is 29%, with an operating income of $32 million.
Year on year (ending same date) gives $2.7 billion growth, or 48%, leaving an operating income of $1,324 million.
This is led by “increased volumes of Xbox 360 consoles, Kinect sensors and higher Xbox LIVE revenue.”
Microsoft have now put their total sales of Xbox 360 units at 55.5 million, shifting a massive 13.7 million consoles in the last twelve months.
Did somebody say they were going to announce a new machine next year…?

0-0 Steven is confused by this comment. Steven doesn’t like being confused. Steven ends up talking in 3rd person when he is confused.

They have done well. If they commit more hardcore games to kinect and get some new IPs they would sell even more. I would like to see how well Sony have done and compare their results with this. I wonder if they are currently researching for the next xbox?
