Yes, Zumba is still number one in the UK charts, making it nine weeks on the trot. Elsewhere there isn’t too much to report apart from the big spike in Zelda sales, which will mainly be down to the 3DS price cut.
Soon there will be Deus Ex, though. Soon.

*sees that Zumba is still number 1 one the charts and screams very loudly* Call of Duty seems to have dropped of the charts. :o I want to know who is buying that god aweful game that is based on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2? It is a middle finger to all fans and is crap.
There are a few movie tie in games on the charts this week and are doing well.:O

I hear HPatDH – pt 2 is an easy platinum. That’s a few thousand sales right there unfortunately.
Plus, don’t under-estimate the power of a cheap movie tie-in. Some will buy the game because they are still on the hype-train from the movie.
Although, i only see 2 movie tie-in games in the list above? (i do not class lego as a movie tie-in game btw, they are just based on the franchise & rarely released at the same time as a movie release)

Isn’t it ridiculous that some people will buy a game to get trophies…which have no real value.
My brother worked in GAME over Christmas and was shocked by the amount of people who would enquire about a games’ trophies, and buy it on the basis of how easy the Platinum was.

Agreed – Don’t get me wrong, i love me some trophies, but i would never buy a game solely for the trophies that were on offer or the purpose of getting an easy plat!
Kinda defeats the purpose really!

some people might like the game I got Rango loved it not bothered if people think why I got a game was for easy trophies I no why I got it.

Whether we think it deserves it or not or should be at the top, kudos to 505 Games. From what I have heard etc it is a pretty solid title for what it is. 9 weeks at the top is impressive. Not my bad though.

This is true, especially when there are huge companies like EA, Activision and RockStar to compete with!
My wife looked for a preowned copy at the weekend and couldn’t find one which either means people aren’t bringing it back as it’s that good, or it’s selling so well that even the preowned copies are flying out the stores.

Lots of people like to get their Zumba on apparently.
Not for me though – Far too energetic & well, ‘dancey’!

It’s seen heavy discounts due to poor reviews (it’s gone down to about £18 a week after release), so that’ll be why it’s selling.
Unfortunately cheap prices do not a good game make (in fact, it should be a bit of a warning this close after release tbh).

Just goes to show that it’s probably one of the best and if not the best racing/driving game you can pick up at the moment.
