inFamous 2 is getting a kind of spin off vampire tale. Festival of Blood is set over the course of one night in New Marais in which Cole must find and defeat the head vampire in order to halt the threat to the city.
It’s not DLC for inFamous 2,as far as we can ascertain, but a standalone title. It seems to be attempting a similar model to the Dead Rising episodic downloads Capcom put out on XBLA. A separate game with several hours of gameplay using assets from the full disc release and put out at an affordable price.
It’s a bold move but they seem to have nailed the look and feel of a vampiric New Marais and we’re always ready for a bit more inFamous, right?

Can’t anything not be tainted by vampires these days? They’re everywhere.
As a game though it should be good fun I have faith in Sucker Punch to deliver.

True that, i haven’t heard of vampires in a while, and even in F3 they weren’t as pronounced.
Sounds like cashing in to me.
bloody hell, that was quick.
anyway, interesting concept, i hope it’s not as big as uncharted 2 though, that was like 16 gigabytes.
and just one night?
well, we’ll find out more in time i suppose.
When I was watching the trailer, i was like OMG Infamous Zombies!!!
Where are people watching live by the way?
Its finished now. You can see a continuous loop for the next 24 hours on the PS Blog.
Oh right, thanks
There are LOTS of Zombie UGC for inFAMOUS 2.
Interesting to introduce vampires, can’t wait for it though.
I’d pick it up but rather it was an expansion.
seems interesting. Last year it was zombies in all the games. does this mean this year it’s gonna be vampires in all the games? what next ghosts
Pacman!
just as long as they don’t frakking sparkle.
Why not a DLC? Like the read dead redemption one…
it would be nice if that was an option, especially if it could save a bit of hard drive space.
better this way I finished Infamous 2 100% will be trading now I now its not DLC.
i think it would be better if both dlc and stand alone versions were available.
More InFamous is all good in my books, plus vamps make a nice little twist in the formula.
