Assassin's Creed Revelations - Animus Edition Unboxing Trailer

A few bits and bobs.

GameStop UK have secured the Assassin’s Creed Revelations Animus Edition. Priced at £60 for the PC version, and £70 for the console version, it will contain the following:

  • The Animus box entirely covered with lenticular lenses to faithfully reproduce the black room of the Animus.
  • In-depth Encyclopaedia featuring 256 pages with comprehensive entries on the major characters, events and other important aspects of the Assassin’s Creed universe.
  • the animated short film and the final chapter of Ezio’s story.
  • Best of Assassin’s Creed Soundtracks.

It also includes the following in-game content:

  • Explore the prison of legendary Vlad the Impaler, the scourge of Constantinople who inspired the myth of Dracula. Seek out the hanging cell of the infamous leader to retrieve his personal blade, a deadly close quarters dagger capable of dispatching any foe.
  • Capacity upgrades for your hidden gun bullets, bombs & crossbow arrows to give you a decisive advantage in battle.
  • Play as two additional multiplayer characters: The Crusader & a character from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood revamped with a Constantinople flavour: the Ottoman Jester.
  • The Armour of Brutus from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.

Not bad, but I refuse to pay 30 quid extra for a fancy book, a fancy box, a fancy short film and soundtracks which I already own. Even the extra stuff looks average, adding up to a couple of characters, a weapon, some old armour and some extra bullets.

Man the mrs would probably love this. Her birthday is on 10th November. I was holding out for a Skyrim special edition, but I may have to get her this and a normal skyrim

That wasn’t GameStop doing the unboxing, was it? After their history with Deus Ex in the US, I hope they put everything back in it :D

Already preordered direct from Ubisoft. Didnt mind spending the extra on the extras as managed to get the Brotherhood Codex edition new for £35.

Can’t decide between this and the other Special Edition, I really want the art book, but I also want everything that’s in here too!

Will this be available as DLC in the future? I like my Armour of Brutus and wish to keep it. Don’t want to pay £70 for it though. Have they given up on UPlay or something?

I don’t like dlc in special editions, prefer ones with hard items as well as books :/
