New Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Trailer

The US PlayStation Blog has got a new video from Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One which shows off some of the weapons in the game. If you can’t wait until October to get your hands on the game for yourselves, this video shows you what you can expect from the Pyroblaster, Arc Lasher, Blitzer and Frost Cannon.

They also promise more info and videos before the game’s release.

  1. The Ratchet and Clank series is fantastic. These weapons looked refreshed.

  2. I watched this last night, not much to the trailer if you know the world of Ratchet and Clank. The weapons seem toned down to the usual tools of destruction. I guess you can’t expect a great range of special weapons when dealing with 4 players in such a confined space (or so the trailers thus far seem to show).

  3. I don’t know if it’s just me, but after playing all previous R&C games, I don’t know if this is worth bothering with? Just look like a bit of a meh game that isn’t canon.

    • Each to their own but I love the R&C games and felt the only thing they were missing was co-op :)

      • The co-op in Gladiator was awesome.

  4. Melee weapons! The one thing I missed in ACiT.

  5. I guess it’s nothing that Ratchet fans haven’t seen before. The Blitzer is reminiscent of the Walloper from the original game with a hover-boots mod added. The Pyroblaster has been in at least two games, the first iteration being the Pyrocitor from the original. The Arc Lasher is a glorified Plasma Whip from R+C 3, and the Frost Cannon is just the Cryo-Mine Glove in cannon form.

I have a feeling that this game won’t be as good as the last few, but I’ll end up getting it anyway. Hopefully they’ll make a return to the tried-and-trusted third-person shooter format. Or do some HD remakes.

  6. I have all the past R&C games & will buy this DAY 1 :P Always EXCELLENT the games are;)

  7. Whoa, can’t believe no-one’s challenged that statement yet!

I’m at the back end of Heroes at the moment – I play it with my wife, and we’ve been having great fun with it.
