Some new gameplay footage of RAGE has been released, showing the main character going on a raiding mission against the Gearheads. I must say, it looks absolutely fantastic in terms of both graphics and gameplay.
Look out for this early October.

Like Fallout but with a stronger focus on killing stuff? It does look brilliant graphically.

Very interesting. I love the little tactical spider-bots which provide the opportunity to distract targets and allow a sneak attack from the rear.

Do we know what platform this trailer is from?
Can’t decide on this….Fallout NV crashed loads, and Borderlands bored me (so far), so can’t decide if I want another wasteland roaming game. Too many games!!!

PC, definitely. I’d bet money on it.

Really? Judging from his aim and the way he looked around while walking I’d say it looks like he played the game with a controller. Seemed very “on-railsy” and he couldn’t hit water if he fell from a boat… Graphic wise I’d agree with you.

No reason why he couldn’t play the game with a controller on pc.
We have seen early builds of multi-plat games played with an Xbox controller before now if i recall correctly.

I can’t wrap my head around the idea that they would make a promo video of a PC FPS with a game controller. Like I said it seemed like an on rails shooter and he missed like there was no tomorrow. It really put me off. This is not the way to promote your game. If they did indeed play it with a controller they should rethink the way they make these videos. I can’t be the only one who feels this way, right? *foreveraloneface*

Fortunately, this one doesn’t freak out my arachnophobia like the ones in Doom3 did..

Ugh. I am of course put off by this (as 8GB is generally the space required for 2 games) & i have 120GB – I just feel sorry for those still rocking a 40GB PS3 really.

I have the 80 GB PS3 and I don’t have any problems with disk space. I regularly delete game data from games that I no longer play and I don’t have any media on the HDD because I only stream content from the PS3 or just watch everything on my PC that is also hooked up to my TV. Currently I have 30 GB free disk space and I haven’t cleaned up in a while. :)

I’m bad at deleting things, my fat PS3 is usually full. Probably means I can’t get this.. does look pretty great though.

It’s okay if the developers keep DLC Data seperate to the game’s Install Data, then I would just delete the Install Data for games I didn’t play often as I can easily re-install it by inserting the disc. However, if you delete Install Data that includes DLC downloaded from the Store, you are then relying on an internet connection and PSN (*cough* recent outage *cough*) to be able to re-download the DLC. I paid £44 for a 500gb HDD which should always be sufficient, I just make sure I don’t have any demos or crap I don’t need on there

Saw the trailer for this game in the cinema last night. Not really doing anything for me
