  1. Good to see that Zumba moves down a place yet again. Feel sorry for Bodycount, but the demo was bad and put a lot of people off the game.

    • Yeah, won’t be leaving the charts anytime soon though…

  2. Driver in 2? Surprising to see but I for one thought the demo – while not absolutely amazing, WAS a lot of fun and I’ll definitely be getting it when it’s sub $30.

    • Only played a few hours of Driver:SF but it’s well worth the price. £32.86 at ShopTo at the moment.

  3. Hopefully this is the start of the great decline for Zumba. Not sure about Driver. I wasnt a fan of the demo but my mate has said the game is alot better. I wouldn’t of got it yet anyway but im still unsure.

    • its harsh how we are wishing a game (if you can call it one) to do bad, but funny at the same time

      • It may be harsh, but if it stayed at the top for weeks on end that’s the only kind of game that would get made!
I’ve just finished my first play through of Deus Ex (on PC) quite enjoyed it and pleased it’s on top :)

      • @plutoniumdragon Yup that’s why Transformers tops the movie charts and you never see rom coms or indie flicks.

      • @halbpro I note the sarcasm but there is a fair point to be made, if the public are buying a particular genre because it is “in”, it takes a brave publisher/distributor to go against the tide.
Obviously not everyone like the same thing and there is always a market for the “different” but is it a large enough market?

      • Transformers tops the charts because it has Massive Fucking Robots that turn in to cars beating the crap out of each other. YOu cant get any more awesome than that.

  4. Picked up a copy of Deus Ex + collector’s edition guide while in Cambridge on Saturday (I find paying bills incredibly over-rated…)
I’ve only played the tutorial so far but it definately seems my sort of game. Plenty of stealth, nice visuals and an interesting storyline. Hopefully it keeps me busy until Gears3 :)

PS, haha sucks to be Bodycount

  5. The demo was terrible but my day one limited edition wasn’t so glad I risked my thin wallet on this game it’s fantastic even in Multiplayer!
Glad to see Dues Ex remains number 1 and Driver number 2 is great also.
Goodbye Zumba the only way to get No.1 again is Zumba 2 lol

  7. I’m a bit stumped by the hacking in Deus Ex…. might have to buy Zumba now.. :(

    • I was stumped too until i pressed select while hacking and it gives you more info… Found fortifying nodes you’d taken helped and to only aim for the green spheres unless you really need to go for the data stores…

      • Thanks, i’ll check that out and hopefully do a little better.

      • Upgrade your hacking skills, it takes the detection rate down to about 15 on every node – makes hacking even level 5 locks easy.

      • I didn’t have enough praxis to upgrade but kept trying – strangely it didn’t lock me out after fifth attempt and i got through on my eighth attempt (probably got less reward though). Anyway, have upgraded since and also have a better handle on the hacking now. :)

    • Heres some hacking pointers.
you don’t have to start by fortifying the first node, since fortification has a higher detection rate I find you usually trigger an alarm when you start fortifying. But once you do trigger an alarm try to immediately go back and fortify every node, it’ll still give you an extra second on the alarm countdown. This is where the quick stop(R1 if you have them) works wonders.
You can capture/ fortify more then 1 node at a time, you should be trying to capture as many nodes at the same time as possible. (this’ll make hacking alot easier if your going from node to node, waiting for a capture until you start another node capture)
If you trigger an alarm on the first node, just back out and try again. you get 2-5 trys.
If all possible try to capture all the data stores, they give you LOTS of XP, plus quick stops and nuke viruses that really help.
And study the screen for a minute before you start, plan your attack, and save those ’5 nodes’ for the end.

      • On top of this, the best route is always the least moves to the end point, then stop before capturing the end point. If you haven’t set any alarms off yet, now start capturing all the nodes off the main route. When you do trigger the alarm, then is the time to capture the end point. Did that make sense? Don’t go off the fastest track basically until you’re 1 node from completing.

      • Thanks for the info guys, both of those make sense to me now, i’m tending towards tonycawleys method but the other tips are good to know too.
