PSN Store Update: 21/09/11

[drop2]Another week, another Wednesday, another PlayStation Network Store Update.

This one sees the release of Criterion’s Burnout Crash! – the hugely Marmite game that people either seem to love or hate. We’ll have our full review up as soon as we can, but in the meantime have a read of Kris’ hands-on from earlier and see if it’s your sort of game.

“So, yes we may have mocked Crash,” Kris said in the preview, “we may have said we didn’t want this and we may have thought that we were being short changed by Criterion. The thing is, while we’re not getting what we may have wanted, it doesn’t really matter: Criterion came up with something better.”

Elsewhere there’s the usual pile of DLC (and 50% off Resident Evil 4 for Plussers) so head on over to the second page (link below) to see what else is there for download this week.

Oh – and who’s buying Driver: San Francisco for £58…?

  1. Hey anyone having problems signing into the psn today? My ps3 won’t sign in keeps saying connection timed out, even though the ps3 says my connection is 100%. Is the network down today? Im living in Ireland.

    • Me too

Fwiw the browser is working so I know the PS3 can reach the internet. It might be the new firmware, that I just installed, but I didn’t try connecting before I installed it so I don’t know for sure.

      • Its just maintenance thank god! Hey bladesteel i think i have you as friend on my ps3 friend list, are you the same bladesteel i teamed up with to get the cleaner trophy in crysis 2?

  2. What the Fight For The Light ain’t on the store, as stated by the above article. Driver price is RRP as far as I know they are not allowed to charge lower than the RRP on digital downloads where retail shops can charge whatever they damn well feel like lol

  3. nothing for me this week, Fallout DLC, though, is cheaper than usual ;)

    • Yeah, i thought it looked quite cheap – Usually weigh in at about £7.99 don’t they?

  4. Resistance 3 demo yay!

  5. Shame the PSN is down. Hopefully not for much longer.

  6. Clash of Heroes, Arkedo 2 and mayyybeee Burnout – ooh and the Nirvana DLC :) I’d look at Burnout as a deffo at 4.99 – I’ll see

  7. Resident Evil 4 is cheaper- €14.99/ €7.50 for PS+.
    Bought. :D
To be fair, I’d have paid for it at Driver’s ridiculous price, and been happy to do so.

  8. Few bits for me if the PSN wasn’t down for the evening :(
Will have to wait till tomorrow now.

  9. pricing for resident evil 4 is wrong, it’s £11.99, and £6.00 for plus subscribers
