It’s Wednesday. That means it’s half way through the working week. Two days until Friday, but only a few hours until the PSN Store Update lands. And – yes – we’re running out of things to say in these bits.
Regardless, it’s a good one this week, with Crysis out for download (it’s around 3GB) and the frankly stupendous update for the wonderful Portal 2 bringing new co-op levels and Challenge Mode stuff for single player.
We also get the sporty arcade-action of NBA JAM On Fire, for those of us who remember hitting nothing but net “from downtown”, this is a bit of an exciting moment.
For those of you who want something a little more relaxing, Eufloria launches today too. It’s an ethereal intergalactic garden, apparently. Looks luscious though.
And no – there are no PS2 games.

But portal 2.. :( Can’t wait to play that, love the fact we got free copies for a pc/mac with ps3, means I can co-op with my brother without having to split screen :)

A right mish-mash of prices this week.
I think I’ll nab my Portal DLC and PS+ freebies and scarper.

Review on Eurogamer linked below. Admittedly it was reviewed on PC, but still should give you an idea:

Edit: if you want lots of reviews, look no further than Metacritic. Crysis sits on a universally acclaimed 91.

I recommend it. Did you like the second? The first is better. That said I have it on pc and can’t judge the ps3 version. Not until the store updates here anyway.

not played any crysis games so read the review and bought it. sony lost a sale because psn was not working so got it on xbox and WOW its superb. easily better than i expected and it puts most console fps to shame graphicly and gameplay so far.

I too am glad it’s back to one page.
Eufloria should be worth a try, as well as Space Channel 5!!!!
