Silent Hill: Downpour Delayed into 2012

Release date uncertainty.

Konami has confirmed via Beefjack that Silent Hill: Downpour will release Q2 2012.

Silent Hill: Downpour, which is being developed by Vatra Games, was expected to release on November 4th 2011 for PS3 & Xbox 360.  So far no reason for the delay has yet been released. The new release date could fall anywhere between April 2012 to June 2012.

Amazon Germany has put down February 15th 2012, which is not within the quarter 2 window, so expect that to change.

Good idea imo with everything else that is coming out between now and Christmas.

And Resi 4 and Code:V just released for cheap on the Store.

Looks like it could be good, so a delayed release is good from my point of view, as I’ve got more than enough to keep me busy for now.

Kind of expected this, every single preview I’ve seen has summed up the game as ‘not ready’.

Maybe they should use this extra time to actually make it look scary.

Good. Use the extra time to make a good game out of it.
