Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier will miss its fourth quarter of fiscal 2011-12 launch window, instead releasing in the UK on May 25th.
This additional time “will allow Ubisoft’s creative teams more time to refine the experience and deliver a game that fully achieves the level of excellence that defines the Ghost Recon franchise.”
A beta will be happening in April for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
In other news, the Ubisoft estimated sales for third-quarter 2011-12 are in, and things are looking positive. Sales are expected to clock in at around €650 million, which is up 8% on last year, and above predictions of €580 million and €620 million.

Since it is Ubisoft I would imagine PS+ subscribers would get some form of involvment.

I think the yanks could also get access to it if they pre-ordered with certain retailers.

This is probably going to be my only purchase for the first half of this year, looking forward to it, it’s already been delayed enough.

Always glad to see a game have the date pushed back for genuine reasons, as long as it’s just the once, am excited to see what they do with it though.
