Well, I’m personally a bit gutted that Might & Magic and Renegade Ops aren’t on the PSN list. People are really missing out on those!

Probably because the psn went down just after Might & Magic came out.

Good point. I loved it so much I bought it to play on my wife’s DS, and I’m tempted to buy it on Steam!

No Crysis :(
Hoping this is the US list, as it’s a bit shit.

With regards to the top 2, it’s a shame so many people are buying older games when they could be trying something new. And I though the Infamous thing was more of a DLC, but obviously not.
Also odd since you can play Tetris for free online.

The top two are particularly disappointing to me because Tetris felt so sluggish to me which is a killer for a game like that and Resident Evil 4 was overpriced, should’ve had a platinum trophy list and I felt like it had aged horribly too.

I got RE4 for about £4 as I think it was priced wrong on the day of release, and I have PS+. However not tried it yet as most games I’ve gone back to like this seem dated. But hey, at least you can walk AND shoot! :)

Agreed on RE4, too expensive and the lack of a platinum is blasphemous. Those are the reasons I didn’t buy it.

RE4 is still the glorious game it was for me, just with better graphics.
Still stands tall with the best of this gen. Should probably have had a platinum, but then, so should Metal Gear Solid 4, and nobody’s going to tell me that that makes it a bad game, are they?

Agree with your ‘older games’ comment. Outland was the standout PSN download for me in 2011; beautiful looking game and great controls. It was one of those ‘Think I’ll just try the demo’ games and I was hooked.

As mentioned in the opening post and reply, it is the US list and I’d imagine that any PS+ freebies have been included in the sales figures which if so, would distort the rankings and list a bit!

Good point about the PS+ stuff, I see the reply now thanks.

Considering MLB isn’t officially sold anywhere but the US, I’d say it’s a safe bet. ;)

Crazy to think BF 1943 is still selling, although it is probably the best game on PSN!

I love it!

Do the FIFA Gold pack sales include purchases made with the in-game generated coins? That would make more sense of them appearing to sell so many.

No, you’d be surprised just how many people load up their PSN with £25 of credit and blow it all on UT packs. The EA forums are full of people doing this.

I would say it’s a weird list but looking at it a second time it;s not. Some great games there like BttF and BF 1943 (only played the hour trial but it was awesome)
No surprises in the DLC section though. Top 6 is a mix of 4 COD packs.

Lovely to see Limbo up there as it didn’t come out until late into 2011. Top stuff.
Dungeon Hunters is a bit crap. Meh. Tried it and feel nothing for it too. The sound design is truly atrocious and pretty much kills it for me.

Its not my sort of game normally but ‘Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012′ is F-IN ADDICTIVE! :P
+ Tetris is brilliant but the Trophies for it are stupid :-/

blimey, says it all really doesn’t it for American gamers.

Surprised to see FIFA pop up twice in the American list.
Guess the stereotype just doesn’t apply anymore.
By the way, what’s FUT, no idea what that is unless FIFA managed to sneak on again.

I guess one will be FIFA 11

Must be FIFA 11 then- the other two are clearly marked as FIFA.
So, ‘soccer’ seems more popular than we think over there, doesn’t it?
