Nordic Games has announced a publishing deal with Remedy Entertainment, which gives Nordic Games the rights to publish the boxed PC version of Alan Wake.
The boxed version will come bundled with both DLCs, ‘The Signal’ and ‘The Writer.’
Lars Wingefors, CEO of Nordic Games GmbH, spoke about the deal.
“We are really looking forward to the PC version of Alan Wake, especially as we are talking about a fantastic PC adaptation thereof, rather than a mere porting of the code. We will talk about this in more detail in the upcoming weeks”
In 2010, Alan Wake won Time’s Game of The Year Award. A release date for the boxed PC version “will follow in the next days.”

ms weren’t interested in the pc version then?
i guess it’s true, the xbox is all they care about, when it comes to games at least.

This is one of few titles I wanted a 360 for. Guess I don’t need that now.
Don’t mind playing this on PC, just got a Logitech G35 headset.

I liked Alan Wake, and I hope it achieves more success with this PC port, but I think it’s a bit repetitive. I wonder if the new ‘not a sequel’ will bring anything fresh to the table.

Fingers crossed it’ll come with the DLC “Alan Wake: Emotions are Fun” where they finally put some effing animation into the characters faces instead of them looking as expressive as a badly photoshopped mannequin.
