An incremental patch, 1.5.26, has been released on Steam for the PC version of Skyrim. It adds the following fixes:

  • Fixed issue with frequency of first person kill cameras
  • Underwater effects now display properly
  • Fixed crash when loading certain plugins (PC Only)
  • Fixed issue where sun would not appear properly after fast travel

The console version of patch 1.5 has now been submitted for approval, so hopefully that’ll be appearing soon.

It’s funny, most of the bugs they fix I only notice after reading the changelogs, lol.

Seeing as there are not many fixes in this patch, i wonder if Skryim now has an acceptable amount of harmless bugs or if this is a half patch to fix the things that they missed in the full patch? Although, i think the unoffical Skyrim patch may have fixed most of the bugs.

I hope the new patch will be out within the next few weeks as i’ve heard the killcams are annoying. :(

Hopefully it’s all going into the next time they use the engine.
