Alongside two variations each of Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch (large and small) the upcoming Vita first person shooter Resistance: Burning Skies will also feature a third mode: Survival.

Keep your finger on the trigger and pray.
Firstly, Survival is online and for between six and eight players, and is split into two teams: human and Chimera. At the beginning of the level the humans outnumber the Chimera but as humans die they join the enemy team.
To win, at least one human must survive the time period set. Otherwise the Chimera team wins.
We’ve not tried this mode yet – multiplayer is blocked off in our build at the moment – but all this is listed in the game’s manual. It sounds like a neat twist on the idea, and Resistance’s online modes round off a nice little package.

Could be fun. I’ll probably stick to Deathmatch for the most part though.
New and interesting – I like.
Loved that mode in Retribution.
That PSP game outdid most PS3 games for the outright fun in online multiplayer.
They keep making it an easier and easier decision to buy this game.. I never bought a Resistance game.. but this might be the one
Hope there’s some good post-release support for this title. One or two extra game modes and a couple extra maps could really make this one last a while online for some people.
This mode sounds good, and some further inventive ones would also be welcome. Then again, you can’t really go far wrong with CTF, KotH, etc. etc.
The game requires an online pass for online features?
Reminds me of Infestation on AVP. Sounds good :)
To me it sounds like Infection on Halo 3
Not exactly new, but cool
this looks really cool,i will definately get this game as soon as it arrives.
