Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3D (Dream Drop Distance) will release in Europe on July 20th 2012, for Nintendo 3DS.
Features for Kingdom Hearts 3D have also been confirmed.
- Dual protagonists – Play as the two most popular characters of the franchise, Sora and Riku.
- “Flowmotion” action – Enjoy fast and effortless movements while interacting with the environment and performing acrobatic attacks.
- Brand-new creatures – Dream Eaters inhabit the Sleeping Worlds, and are split into two categories: Spirits and Nightmares. Breed over 50 different types of Spirits as allies to fight alongside Sora and Riku.
- New Disney worlds – Disney worlds and characters, such as La Cité des Cloches (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), and “The Grid” (TRON: Legacy) make their series debut.
Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance is the first original Kingdom Hearts title since KH: Birth By Sleep, which released in 2010. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, which released last year on DS, was an updated re-release of the original game.

Heroes of Ruin, Mario Tennis, Kingdom Hearts and New Super Mario Bros2. It’s all about the 3DS for me over the coming months :D
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was my favourite non-Pokemon DS game.
Never got round to playing Birth By Sleep on PSP unfortunately, but I heard very good things about it.
Hope to see one on the Vita within a year or two.
Technically Re: Coded wasn’t a remake of the first game. It was a remake of a Japan Exclusive mobile game that takes place after KH 2.
Hell yes. Going to be a great couple of Months for the 3DS. Especially after just picking up RE:Revelations as well. Loving owing this console atm.
Revelations is so good! :)
Add me if you fancy a game of Raid some time.
