Capcom has announced that to celebrate the release of upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the company will release a short film called Steel Battalion Heavy Armor: Gosha. The film is being directed by Mamoru Oshii, director of ‘Ghost in the Shell’ & ‘Avalon’.
The story behind ‘Steel Battalion Heavy Armor: Gosha’ follows Vertical Tank pilot, Gosha, and her VT squad. The story will follow the squad’s journey into war and the relationship between squad members as war unfolds.
A short teaser of Steel Battalion Heavy Armor: Gosha can be seen below, which was filmed in Poland.

Has there ever been a good game to film adaptation?
Not for me, but Oshii is a legend so if it’s ever gonna happen, this is probably the best chance.
