Mad Riders Trailer Is 'Very HD', Pokes Fun At Dead Island

Brilliant.

Developers Techland have created a rather amusing trailer for upcoming quad bike racer ‘Mad Riders’, which is set for a digital release.

Announcing the announcement of the teaser trailer for the actual trailer of the game, the video features ‘Very HD’ , ‘7,011 billion players’ and rather superbly, ‘Motion captured vehicle wheels’.

The video also pokes fun at the slow motion reversed video from Techland’s other game, Dead Island, which is pretty cool.

The game launches on Xbox LIVE, PSN and Steam on May 30th, we’ve been playing it and it’s – er – alright, with one hell of a fisheye lens thing going on.

And like Dead Island, will a great trailer lead to an average game?

I don’t think a single jimmy will be rustled on the release of this game.

instantly put off by the clip at 30 seconds where not one quadbike splashes the puddle as the drive “over” it

Nice trailer, makes me want to play the actual game even though I don’t think it would be any good. But it is just an arcade title. So good on them for poking a bit of fun and the gaming industry.

That’s really well done. So much better than all the crappy generic “show some explosions, do some slow motion footage split up by black cuts and throw in some horrible dubstep to make the kidz like it”-trailers.
