No PSN Discount As Resistance Hits Vita Store At Full Price

That didn't last long.

Sony have released Resistance: Burning Skies on the US PSN Store for $40, the exact same price as it is at retail, on a card. Previously Vita games, at least first party ones, have seen a little discount, but that seems to not be the case here.

There’s a demo available, although it’s the full size of the game itself – just over 3.1GB, which might put a few people off. We’d suggest that if bandwidth and memory card aren’t issues that you give the first person shooter a chance, it’s decent in places.

There’s also a Gravity Rush demo and a Nico Nico video viewing app, the latter of which came out of nowhere. Let’s hope all of the above make it to the EU Store update tomorrow – we’ll let you know the second we can of  course, as normal.

Nihilistic’s first person shooter has recieved wildly differing review scores, including a 6/10 from TheSixthAxis. The game is released in the UK this Friday, for £34.99.

you’d expect think there would be some discount seeing as you would be forced to buy a memory card to play it anyway

Just checked. Yep, $35.99 now on US Store.

Bizarre. So it’s $35.99 and £39.99. Nice exchange rate, Sony

ok so I’m not a huge fps guy, so i gotta ask – are you supposed to be using cover like in uncharted or not? I seem to die in the demo a lot in straight up firefights.
