Assassin's Creed 3 "Frontier" Walkthrough

With commentary.

Assassin’s Creed III’s creative director, Alexander Hutchinson, walks viewers through the game in this freshly released video.

I really like videos like this – it feels like a proper demonstration of the game from somehow who knows it inside out, and in this case at least works quite well.

Gosh, looks to be a big leap from Revelations both in terms of graphics and also when it comes to the fluidity of the gameplay, will be one of the highlights for me this year.
But, still, would of prefered most other historical settings to Colonial America.

Just played through Revelations. Still enjoyed it despite being almost identical to Brotherhood. Looking forward to a bit of a change with this one. Looks great. Will probs be the number 1 game on my list this Xmas.

Looking great. Since there aren’t crowded streets, it looks like the game (with hunting too) is taking a slightly different, and welcomed – perhaps even survival – approach, rather than blend-in-and-jump-another-target. Despite the obvious difference in environments, reminds me of RDR quite a bit.

One of my biggest criticims of AC has always been the environment, i’ve always said it’s all a bit too similar and apart from the guards having different coloured outfits, nothings really that different, this looks very very different to that. Love the use of plants and bushes to hide from prey and then pounce.

They don’t need to change too much, really, they have a solid formula now and a loyal fanbase. It’s interesting to watch this though.
