As we’ve just reported, the Mass Effect 3 DLC is coming out on June 26th. Well, on further inspection, that date is true of PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game around the world. It’s even true for North American PlayStation 3s.
But if you’re a PlayStation 3 Mass Effect 3 player anywhere else in the world, you’ll have to wait an extra week. The release date for PlayStation 3 DLC outside of SCEA’s region is July 4th.
There’s no explanation for this delay offered and, let’s be honest, no explanation that would possibly assuage fans who will see it as something of a kick in the teeth for the platform.
I’ll go ahead and guess that BioWare and EA will officially say that it’s because of localisation or different approaches to approving DLC for the stores in other territories. In which case, perhaps it’s not all BioWare’s fault – they might have the content all ready to go and simply be awaiting lengthy approval processes from Sony regions.
Regardless of the causes for the delay, I’m sure it’s not going to please a lot of you.

Oh we’ll one week longer, no major issue.
Already traded me3 in so might youtube the 3 slightly newer endings after skipping the last hour of the game…. Way too late with this. The shouldve delayed the whole game i reckon. They mustve known the ending wasnt going to go down well after talking it up so much.. I thought the endings were ok, in a vague way
I’m only worried about how everyone will be talking about the amendments a week before EU gamers. Will have to try and avoid spoilers.

ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL OF SCEE. It will be out at the same time as the rest of the world as SCEE now care about giving everyone a decent service. If only, i had that power. *sigh*. I just know some knob will ruin the extended endings for me and other TSAers by posting it on here. :(
Also, if it turns out that SCEE are delaying it due to QA testing and then delay it for 3 months, someone is getting a normandy model thrown at them and a copy of ME3.
Well I was going to start my insanity run soon as that’s the only trophy left for plat but I might as well wait for this now. Actually looking forward to it, not said that about anything in terms of gaming for ages.
I’m very slowly playing this game past month :) waiting for this DLC so this is good news I I love it so much but playing it slow slow is killing me :)

Also, I haven’t played the game for a while, would I have to build up my galactic readiness again? I can’t really be bothered to do that again.
Not even started ME3 yet, still trying to plat Skyrim. Should be ready to get started on it by the time the DLC drops.
