Cubixx Now Free On PlayStation Mobile

Be Qix.

Laughing Jackal’s great puzzler Cubixx is now free (for a week at least) on PlayStation Mobile. This follows the two previously free Mobile games – Samurai Beatdown and Futurlab’s Beats Slider, as part of Sony’s efforts to get people interested in the platform.

The game will play on PlayStation Vita and any certified Android device, and is well worth a look, especially given that you currently don’t need to pay anything to get it.

Another Mobile game will become free next week – there are apparently six in the series, so we’re just about at the half way stage.

“Cubixx HD Now Free On PlayStation Mobile” if you live in Sony’s definition of Europe…

Well the HUD and backgrounds certainly don’t look ‘HD’. I wonder what else is to come. I also wonder what the actual problem is with Sony not bringing PSM to most of Europe.

It’s a pity their efforts to make PSM interesting doesn’t include making it more widely available.

So far I’ve downloaded all the free games, but haven’t played a single one more than once. Hoping this one is better.

The headline is wrong it’s just Cubixx not Cubixx HD, Cubixx HD is the PS3 version.
Also the other game free with Samurai Beatdown was Beatslider not Fuel.

This seems to actually be a PS Mini disguised as a PSM game, it seems to be running at PSP resolution and even tells you not to turn off your PSP system while it’s saving.
