Bungie’s Destiny Confirmed For PS4

Over at the PS4-revealing PlayStation Meeting, Activision head Eric Hirshberg has confirmed that the new project from Halo creators Bungie, Destiny, will be coming to PlayStation 4.

Not only that, but the game will be available on both PS3 and PS4 on day one (whenever that is – likely sometime next year), and the PlayStation versions of the game will receive exclusive content too.

Bungie co-founder Jason Jones made a pre-taped appearance to talk about Destiny in general and the way that they’ve been working to evolve the first-person shooter and improve co-op gameplay.

  1. was it just me who thought they were referring to valve during the introduction? still happy about this though.

  2. Everything is looking rosy for Sony.

  3. I’m assuming the ps4 version will just be a slightly shinier version of the ps3 version. rather than it being built for the ps4 and gimping the ps3 version.

  4. Not much to see, again. Hopefully they can reveal much more at this year’s E3. I’m still hoping for local coop…
