Mass Effect 3 And Dead or Alive 5 Land On PlayStation Plus

Life in the old PS3 yet, then.

Just when you thought PlayStation Plus was about as good as it’s going to get, SCEE have just hit it out of the park with a trio of top tier games that are free as part of your subscription.

First up is EA’s massive RPG Mass Effect 3, available from the 6th of March. Despite weeks of everyone moaning about the end of the game the general consensus is that the rest of it is pretty good.

Also available is the technically brilliant brawler Dead or Alive 5. Sure, it’s a game with absolutely loads of DLC but it’s optional stuff and the core game is well worth playing.

Finally, indie hit Joe Danger 2 completes the trio.

Don’t worry Vita-owner gamers, the week after will see the superb Metal Gear Solid HD Collection available, and on the 20th cute water-based puzzler Bubble Puddle lands on the service.

So remember that Sleeping Dogs, Vanquish and LIMBO all leave the Instant Game Collection on the 6th, and WipEout 2048 and Lumines in the following weeks. Grab them now if you haven’t already.

MGS HD? Amazing. Have it on the PS3 but always thought I’d give it more love on the Vita. Joe Danger has always had my interest.

Recently bought the Mass Effect trilogy. Might sell the third one on it’s own, see if I can get much cash for it.

OK – what has Sony done / what do they want? This stinks of the same sort of generosity the missus gives me right before the inevitable “baaaaaaaaaaaaabe, can I…..”

    Seriously – great stuff indeed!

Seriously, this PS+ thing is ridiculous. I mean, by not this must be putting Sony in debt :p

It’s just another lesson to never buy games.

Simple ludicrous, I’m barely able to keep up with the content now and I only own a Vita! Gravity Rush and Uncharted almost finished but Jet Set Radio, lumines and Wipeout are nowhere close to done. Mortal Kombat, pinball and now this…

I keep downloading Vita stuff to my PS3 and I still haven’t done Uncharted on my crushing play through. Only got an 8gb memory card too. Its all backing up LOL.

Every month Sony seem to deliver on PS+ now. Really surprised they’ve kept it up and that they’ve been keeping big publishers on board.
