PSN Store Update: 17/04/13 - Journey Collector's Edition and Soul Sacrifice Demo

More Journey will always mean a good Store update.

This week isn’t exactly bustling for the PSN Store Update. It can’t be a great update every week and even though there are no big, flashy new releases on the Store this week, a bundle that features exclusive new content and a demo for a hotly anticipated Vita title are still enough to get excited about for many.

Time to go chasing up that mountain again.
The Journey Collector’s Edition comes with Flow and Flower, as well as some special features that include three mini games that were born out of a 24 hour game jam.

There’s also a developer’s commentary in there, which is likely to be fascinating so for £15.99, it’s not a bad bundle at all.

Soul Sacrifice’s demo is there for Vita owners, as we reported earlier. This is something Vita owners have been waiting for and hoping will rival Capcom’s much loved Monster Hunter franchise. It’s certainly worth taking a look, as we mentioned earlier this month.

Elsewhere on Vita, there’s a new release of Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland, which sees all the DLC bundled in, along with a few new bosses and sites to explore. That’s priced at £34.99 and will need almost 3GB of Memory Card space to inhabit.

Other than that, it’s looking like DLC packs and multiplayer bits and pieces for Uncharted 3 make up the bulk of the rest of the update.

There is the release of John Daly’s Pro Stroke Golf for £15.99, if you’re itching for some golfing and don’t like Tiger.

Still no sign of Terraria, which has been out on XBLA in the UK for a few weeks now. If there’s anything else exciting, or any shock additions when the Blog updates, we’ll post the list later.

I’m getting a bit pissed off with the Vita exclusives, there are at least two dozen of them that I want to play and can’t. It’s hardly a chore for Sony to make them playable on the PS3 but they won’t and it’s all because they want more Vita sales. If I was part of a third party dev team then I’d be kicking up shit through loss of title sales!

i don’t know, any game that uses the touchscreen and/or the touchpad on the back would not be able to be played fully on PS3 with the DS3 not featuring comparable controls.
whether they could actually get the software running on PS3 is another matter entirely.

If its makes a difference YMAM, it’s fairly easy to pick up a refurbished Vita for around £100 now on a certain car-boot esque auction site. I’ll send you what I’ve found if you’re interested.

Bah 3rd week ive checked now for Terraria , will soon be off my radar and sale lost .Must be most annoying for not just us potential buyers but the makers (not sure who) because the initial buzz is dying out week on week.

not such a good update if you’ve already got all three of those games.

    and still no Terraria?

even Iago’s too fed up with scee’s crap to bother commenting, and he normally loves doing that “not surprised” bit of his.
