The PlayStation Vita seems to have been on the receiving end of plenty of game announcements recently. Most of those have been indie games that have previously seen some success elsewhere – like this week’s PSN release of Thomas was Alone. Well, now there’s reason to be hopeful that we might also see a rather hotly anticipated from a big publisher release towards the end of this year.
Rayman Legends, the sequel to Ubisoft’s gorgeous side-on platformer, has been listed by a Spanish retailer for the PlayStation Vita. There’s no box art and no price so – word of warning – it might simply be a placeholder in case the game is announced for Sony’s handheld.
It’s always seemed like a perfect fit, though, even before Ubisoft announced that the game, previously only listed for the Wii U, was widening its scope to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Rayman Origins looked beautiful and worked brilliantly on the Vita so it would certainly be nice to see its sequel make its way to the device.

It would fit the vita well. It works on a portable system, but not the 3DS though.

That would be awesome, the vita was the first place I ever played rayman so it’s only right to continue

Same here! Had a lot of fun with it, although I’ve not finished it and I’m currently playing other games. :)

How about a cross-buy allowing for Wii U like features on the PS3, ey Ubisoft?
