Today sees the release of Unearthed (our review from this morning is here) for PS3, and both Quell Memento and The HD Adventures Of Rotating Octopus Character on the PlayStation Vita.
Also due out but not yet uploaded to the store is Dynasty Warriors 6, Fuse (which is a hefty £60, and released on Friday) and the digital version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Diggs Nightcrawler is also released today, for the Wonderbook owners.

Quell was a great puzzler on iOS so hopefully translates well to the Vita. We’re working through Rotating Octopus Character now for review, stay tuned.
The Warriors is also out today, the PS2 Classics title.
Remember that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD and Demon’s Souls are all free on PlayStation Plus from this week onwards.

“•HD Adventures Of Rotating Octopus Character”
The title seems so generic that it’s actually interesting again. “Just describe what you see on the screen and we’ll call it that.” :P

i can already feel the waves of hatred coming off my PS3’s hard drive. ^_^
i’m looking forward to finally playing Demon’s Souls.
nothing for sale today that really interests me.
the plus stuff is cool though, i’ll add KOA, just so i’ve got it on my download list, hopefully i’ll have room for Ico and SOTC as well, i wanna see if those smoke monsters are as annoying as i remember, seriously Yorda, pick up a bloody stick and fight back.
and i wanna see if i can actually get past the first colossi in SOTC.
and 60 quid for Fuse?
surely with the prices they’re charging, ea could afford to buy a clue. ^_^

What?? Asking EA to stop being money grabbing bastards for a change (well, sort of). No chance of that happening anytime soon.

Plus content aside, this has to be the worst update (to me personally) for years. Actual years.

You dare question the rotating octopus?
yiddo
Yeah, in fact I do? Little Octopussy.

There’s also some Move game called Kite Fight, €4.99.
And a ‘Diamond’ avatar for … €4.99… and someone has already bought one.

Kite Flite is revamped version of a PS2 game developed for the indian market.
FACT!

Has not updated for me yet, i’ll be sure to enter the pvp realms of Demon’s Souls with the boost to the community this will surely give it. I have heard good things about KoA too.

I was under the impression that the Demon’s Souls servers were all offline except for the US. I will be happy to be wrong though. Was originally offline everywhere until some Americans shouted loud enough.

Quell is a really good game, so I would recommend it to anyone with a vita

Looking forward to playing Demon’s Souls, just need to free up some HDD space first.

It looks like the store website is down at the moment. Good grief folks, stop downloading and let me get my Shadow of the Colossus!

Quick question regarding the indie section on the store (kind of update related… sort of) – Do we know if all titles in that section will see a reduction at some point (such as Retro City Rampage & something else i noticed the other day that i can’t remember right now)?
Really interested in getting Guacamelee, but don’t want to spend a tenner on it if its going to be reduced sometime in the near future.
The Avenger
I myself haven’t heard of anything on reductions for indie titles at the moment. Guacamelee is quite recent so I doubt we’ll see any reduction for some time, maybe a few months at the least.
RCR got a discount not so long ago so whether another one will come along is questionable.
In terms of permanent reductions in price, I doubt we’ll see anything for quite a while on the newer indie titles.
Forrest_01
Sorry, should have clarified a bit better really – What i meant was i am aware that RCR had a discount to promote the indie section & then another game from that section was reduced a week or so ago (presumably for the same reason).
My question was based upon the rest of the titles in that particular grouping & whether they will ALL see discounts at some point, or whether it was just a few selected titles only.
That said, you do have a point in the fact that Guacamelee is a much newer title than the rest, so perhaps not.

and three hours after starting the download, i finally get to try Demon’s Souls.
two hours downloading, and an hour install. >_<
