Mad Max Game Announced

That supercharged car...

Going back and watching the Mad Max films is a little disappointing to me these days, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a soft spot for the post apocalyptic world it depicts.

So, Mad Max is back, developed by Avalanche Studios for Warner Brothers Interactive, and coming with an exclusive Road Warrior Survival Kit for PlayStation.

There’s no word just yet on further platforms, but PlayStation 4 is surely a lock. Xbox One is a safe bet too, but we’ll have to wait and see about 360 and PS3.

There’s a new Mad Max film?! Somehow missed that, but at least now I understand why they’re making this game.

yeah, they’ve been filming for a while now, they’re in post production now, Tom Hardy is playing Max i think, and Charlise Theron is also in it.
from what i’ve read she shaved her head for her role, whatever it is.

So that blurry image we saw a few months ago was this? Damn. I wanted Just Cause 3. Guess I’ll have to watch the Mad Max movies.

Dissappointing? The first two were great! There was such a massive build up to the action for the first film (which I watched for the first time a year or two ago), you don’t seem to get any of that for modern films with instant gratification.

Sorry what I meant to say was looking forward to what they do with the license *ahem*

I wonder if it’s open world. Could be a really fun alternative to Just Cause.

If it’s open world (like it should be) then it could be excellent.
