Wallets At The Ready, Battlefield 4 Merchandise Incoming

Battlefield 4 your life.

Are you a fan of Battlefield 4? Would you to like to be reminded of your favourite game throughout the day? Step forward my cash-rich and slightly gullible chum, EA have wares-a-plenty.

Lawks

There will be a strategy guide from Prima, a Razer keyboard, mice and headsets, controllers for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and QPad mouse mats. Whilst battling you wear a range of Battlefield 4 clothing and completely ignore incoming calls on your phone which is swathed in a lovely Battlefield 4 protective case.

Battlefield 4 artwork from Cook & Becker for you coffee table and Battlefield 4 wall art from Walls360 will help set the mood and whilst the game is loading you can flick through the official prequel novel which details the backstory to the game.

“Stationed in Shanghai, Kovic is the sort of field man the CIA doesn’t have enough of. He’s a chameleon, fluent in language and manners, the sort who can disappear in any crowd, but when called upon can do what has to be done with force and cunning.”

“His bosses are wary of him, just as they are wary of the Chinese. How has he survived this long in Shanghai?Has he been turned? When a joint US-Chinese mission to North Korea goes horribly awry and his entire team is killed, Kovic is under suspicion from both sides.”

Ooh, tense!

In the very unlikely event you need to leave your house and stop playing Battlefield 4 (pfft, as if!) you can carry things in a gorgeous Battlefield 4 courier bag!

Drive to the shops in your Battlefield 4 limited edition Ford Ka, munch a Tesco Battlefield 4 Ham and Cheese sandwich and at the end the day strip off your Battlefield thong and make love to your special lady with the Limited Edition ‘Hint Of Chilli’ Battlefield 4 lubricant, codenamed “Fire In The Hole”.*

* These may not be entirely true. To be honest it’s quite possible judging by the amount of merchandising on offer, but so far these are unconfirmed.

Ah, last night was “no lube night” which always leaves 3shirts a little cranky in the morning. ;-)

I like Battlefield stuff, and will probably like BF4 but come on, anyone buying stuff like this needs to get out a bit more.

Here’s a question, will keyboard and mouse be compatible next gen?

      And here’s your answer: Mebbe.

EA are thinking about Keyboard/Mouse support for the PS4 version of Battlefield, but nothing set in stone.

Not that I’d use it all that much, I’ve just always wondered why they’ve never been used much this gen, cheers!

I’m guessing they’d have to somehow split the player then though. Would be unfair to have controller players in the same game as keyboard and mouse surely?

@3shirts why would they have to separate them, I play with a 360 pad on bf3 on pc and I hold my own plus driving tanks with a pad is far easier

Anyone noticed with the players on bf3 on consoles the players act like lemmings, You see them stack in up at choke points then all dive into oncoming fire

Yes, this is my tactic – I take the hit like the good bullet sponge i am & then my squad mates finish off the enemies with the minimal damage i have already inflicted as a kicker.

My k/d is obviously poor as a result, but if i started worrying about stuff like that i would give up gaming entrely.
