Football Manager 2014 PS Vita Listing Was Not Legitimate

Yesterday the rumour mill was in full swing after a listing for a Vita version of Football Manager 2014 appeared on Shopto. There was excitement that SEGA were bringing the management sim to Sony’s handheld, though it wouldn’t have been a major shock considering previous Football Manager games have had some presence on the PSP. However, today that same listing has disappeared with the URL leading to a 404 page on Shopto’s website.

So, we decided to ask SEGA about this mysterious listing and if Football Manager 2014 would indeed be coming to the Vita. SEGA told us that the listing on Shopto was not legitimate, with the artwork likely being fan made since the logo for the next entry in the series is not yet public domain.

However, there wasn’t a concrete denial stating Football Manager 2014  wouldn’t be coming to the PS Vita, so maybe we’ll get information at Gamescom considering Sony said the console would be the focal point of the conference. I’d definitely like to be winning the Champion’s League while on the bus.

  1. I don’t think it’ll matter if it comes to vita or not, it’ll still be too expensive the psp versions were always £30 while the iOS version is £6 when they’re the same game.

  2. Their loss, not buying a shitty overpriced PSP model.
