XCOM: Enemy Within Listings Sighted, Details Coming Later This Month

A number of listings for a game titled “XCOM: Enemy Within” have been spotted. The unannounced title has appeared on both the Steam database and a Korean classification board, which listed the product for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

2K have yet to outline any official details surrounding the game though, chances are, it’s most likely a follow-up to last year’s XCOM: Enemy Unknown or a downloadable expansion.

The publisher has since contacted VG247 with the following statement:

We’re looking forward to making an announcement on August 21. We don’t have any further comment at this time.

With Gamescom 2013 starting on the same day, we’re likely to hear more from Cologne later this month.

  1. I recently finished XCOM:EU and despite the frame rate drops (often ones!) the game was very good. Got a bit boring in the middle, but generally fun and challenging. Looking forward to see a sequel, due to “interesting” ending of the first game :D

    • Xcom is brilliant but i’d like an expo before a sequel one what pref added more Alien types/research options/ more late game stuff to do.

  2. Nice…

  3. Loved Enemy Unknown. Are there any other turn based games anyone cam recommend on xbox?
