That’s one penny under a fiver, to be precise; it seems as though Grand Theft Auto IV is on sale on the PlayStation Store, with the standard edition at just £4.99 and the bundle including the two DLC packs for just £6.49.
Oddly, this seems to have been a pre-order bonus for GTA V, though it appears you don’t have to pre-order Rockstar’s upcoming title to get the games cheap. A sentence in the item’s description reads:
“GTA V pre-order discount offer has already been applied to this title. No further discount will be applied for customer’s pre-ordering GTA V.”
So, go wild, the discounts there for all to buy. It’s quite a good deal, managing to match the Steam sale prices of GTA IV, which is rarely seen on PSN.

Nice, will do this when I get home. Didnt get around to getting the expansion packs. CEX will buy the standard edition of GTA for £8 (or £10 exhange), and I can have the complete version with cash left in my pocket – done!

I went to the web version of the PSN just a few mins ago and I cant actually see anywhere to pre-order GTA V. Am I doing something wrong or should I try again when I get home on my PS3? I can see the offer for GTA IV though however….

that is very cheap and good for those who fancy playing it. Personally I found the game very boring and traded it in, but still its a great deal.

Whats that Mike? Google says its the Ballad of Gay Tony? Is that an extra mission that will come with the deal?

It is. It’s the second (and last) DLC pack for GTA IV which comes in the Complete Edition (along with The Lost and Damned). It adds quite a few extra hours gameplay and they added some great weapons to it too. It’s a lot more fun the original game so may be worth a try for you.
